Using a branded domain on your links
Your links work on your own domain automatically - you only pick a domain for special cases.
Once a domain is live, every short link you have already works on it: golo.to/abc and links.yourbrand.com/abc go to the same place, and clicks on either count toward the same link. Make it your default domain and links are shown and copied on it everywhere in GoloLink.
New links
New links are created so they work on both golo.to and your default domain - so changing or removing your domain later never breaks them.
If a custom short URL you want (like /headphones) is already taken on golo.to by someone else but is free on your domain, GoloLink tells you and creates that link on your domain only.
Choosing a specific domain
The Domain field on a link, short URL or page always starts on (default). It lets you pick a different connected domain, or your domain only - for example to give a second domain its own links. Links created this way work only on that domain, not on golo.to.
Domains that aren't working yet are listed but greyed out - verifying while DNS is being set up, DNS issue if a check found the records changed - so you can see why they can't be picked. On the Free plan, the field shows Use your own domain with an upgrade option instead.
Already-shared links
Live short URLs (ones that have clicks or are in a video description) can't be moved to another domain, because that would break them wherever they're posted. To show a link on a different domain, add a new short URL instead.
