Changing the URL
The same golo.to/{slug} namespace as regular short links.
A Smart Pick page's URL is golo.to/{slug} (or {yourdomain}/{slug} on a connected custom domain) - the same namespace as regular short links, so a page's slug and a link's slug can't both use the same value on one domain.
Edit the slug field in the page's settings to change it; GoloLink checks availability the same way it does for link slugs. Changing it changes the page's public URL - anyone using the old address gets a not-found page. Once a page is live (it's been viewed), its slug is locked.
Moving the page to another domain
Use the edit button on the Main row under Short URLs to pick a different Domain - this works even after the page is live, because the slug stays the same.
- From
golo.toto your domain: always safe. The oldgolo.toURL redirects to your domain. - Anything else on a live page (off your domain, or between two of your domains): GoloLink first asks you to confirm and names the URL that will stop working, since visitors using it would get a not-found page.
