How to pause a link

Open the link from Links. At the bottom of the page, choose Pause link.

While it's paused:

• Every short URL on that link shows a paused page instead of redirecting.
• Clicks are not recorded.
• The link, its short URLs, and its click history stay in your account. The slug stays yours.

A banner at the top of the link shows Resume link. Resuming starts redirects and click recording again.

Pause is for a temporary stop you turn back on yourself. Set an expiration date when the link should stop on a date. Delete the link when you want the link, its short URLs, and its click history gone.

The delete confirmation also offers Pause instead while the link is still live.
